There's lots of things he could say to that, he knows - that he does not hiss, please and thank you, that Teddy doesn't need to protect himself from Billy, that he never has to change for that, that he's been working on it and he's noticed, that he really, really, really wants to grow up with Teddy by his side, always and forever, till death does them part. Lots of things.
