I... sort of have a proper job, too. I don't know, with all the hype that goes on about turning eighteen, or twenty-one, or whatever, you kind of expect the magical switch to flip on as soon as you turn that age. Like you suddenly know everything about being an adult and can absolutely take care of yourself.
